Our annual Tulip Fest vigil in Washington Park near the Moses statue which will take place on Saturday, May 9th, from 1 PM through 2 PM

Date: Saturday, May 9th from 1 PM to 2 PM, vigil.

Followed by leafleting in pairs from 2 PM to 2:30 PM, if you care to stay.

Place: A location near the Moses statue in Washington Park.  Meet at the Moses statue and we will choose the best spot to vigil.

(People bringing props or helping to choose a location please arrive 15 minutes in advance)

Theme: Racism Breaks Grannies’ Hearts.

BLACK LIVES MATTER!

Some wonderful wearable neck signs that say “Racism Breaks Grannies’ Hearts.”

Dress: We will wear white and black. Or white or black: White shirts on top.  Red berets and visors will also be available.

Rain or shine vigil. People asked to bring umbrellas in the event of rain to protect the neck signs.

The vigil will be a silent vigil this year.  We will remind people at the start.

We will have a brief closing circle at the end of the vigil, where we all join hands and share our thoughts.
