Vigil To Protect Refugees and Asylum Seekers

 
Saturday, May 11, 2019 From 1 PM to 2 PM with optional leafleting afterwards

During the Tulip Fest we will meet and stand near the Moses Statue[King Memorial Fountain] in Washington Park

Themes: our major unifying banners read:

FAMILIES BELONG TOGETHER ~ SAFE & FREE 

WELCOME REFUGEES WITH LOVE AND RESPECT

Our leaflet will also address the issue of national and international laws of Asylum. And the need to demilitarize the Borders.

We have many other banners and signs,  or feel free to bring your own.

This is a rain or shine vigil.

Please wear something red or white if you can.
