Gather at 10 am for our Launch Vigil from 10:30 – 11:30

If you can, wear something blue to match the sign!
We will have signs but feel free to bring others relating to military spending or ending hunger.

Location:  Central Ave. (Route 5), 500 feet west of Mather Avenue

Address/location of billboard is 2082 Central Ave., Schenectady 12304.  Billboard is on the south side of Central, facing west.  Parking is not easy.  Try to carpool.  We have permission from property directly across the road with Coldwell Banker sign to park there – either in the vacant lot or behind the house (just don’t block in occupant).  Central Ave is 5 lanes so use caution if you cross; there is a crossing signal at Lisha Kill Rd.  Another possible parking option is along Mather Ave.

Women Against War is working with World Beyond War.org to have two billboards up in the Capital District during May.  The second one, with the same message, is on Route 2, just west of Watervliet, facing west.  This powerful message can speak to everyone – especially after just paying taxes.
