On Monday, August 15th at 1 PM, Grannies for Peace will hold our planning meeting for the upcoming annual International Day of Peace Vigil. To take place on Wednesday, September 21st from 5 PM to 6 PM outside Colonie Center. at Wolf Road and Central Avenue.

This meeting will be facilitated and recorded by the vigil’s co-coordinators, Dot Richards, Doreen Glynn and Joan Thornhill.  We will be deciding on the details of props, outreach, media work and assignment of tasks to make this another successful vigil that involves the larger peace and justice community.
